AgfaPhoto has developed a wide range of digital photo frames to help you relive the most memorable moments of your life. You'll be able to show off your best photos in a digital photo frame with an elegant design that could be mistaken for a traditional photo frame.
Photos can be transferred to the frame via USB or via an application using a Wi-Fi connection. Would you like to transfer your best photos directly from your smartphone to your digital picture frame? Discover the features of a Wi-Fi connected digital photo frame, and how to set it up for optimum everyday use.
Digital photo frames connected to Wi-Fi via a dedicated application
The digital photo frames we offer are powered by a dedicated application, FRAMEO. This application is compatible with iOS and Android mobile operating systems, and is therefore available on both the App Store and the Play Store.
When you connect to this application, it will recognise your digital photo frame using the Wi-Fi network. Our connected digital photo frames work in the same way as a speaker, to which you can connect directly from your smartphone. The difference with the digital photo frame is that you need to access the FRAMEO application to connect.
All your digital photo frame needs to work is an internet connection. Once your frame is connected to Wi-Fi via the application, it will receive all the photos and videos sent from your smartphone or that of your friends and family, wherever they may be in the world.
As long as the frame is switched on, photos and videos sent will automatically appear on the touch screen. Of course, your digital photo frame will not receive any photos or videos if the Wi-Fi connection in your home is not enabled.
The connected digital photo frame is a new way of sharing photo or video memories with friends and family. Wherever they are in the world, your loved ones will be able to transfer their best photos to your digital frame using the dedicated FRAMEO application.
Other features of our Wi-Fi connected digital photo frames
The ability to display photos and videos sent from a smartphone anywhere in the world isn't the only advantage of our connected digital photo frames. They also come with a host of features that make them very practical and a pleasure to use every day. They are equipped with their own in-house software, giving them a wide range of functions:
· Automatic photo scrolling
· Display programming
· Time and weather functions
Our connected digital photo frames are also characterised by the quality of their screens. It is touch-sensitive, so you can scroll through photos and videos at the touch of a finger. It has also been designed using IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology, a screen technology that delivers better colour rendition. The colours of your photos and videos will be brought to life on the IPS screen of your connected digital photo frame.
What's more, all the connected digital photo frames in our range have 32 GB of built-in memory. This means you can store a large number of photos and videos in your digital frame. However, the number of photos you can store will depend on the resolution of the photos (in megapixels), and the number of videos stored, which obviously take up more space than photos in the frame's built-in memory. Our connected digital photo frames are also equipped with USB and memory card ports, so you can expand your digital frame's storage space if you need to.
How do you configure your Wi-Fi-connected digital photo frame?
When you switch on your digital picture frame for the first time, you won't be able to transfer your photos and/or videos straight away. You'll need to configure it first. There are several steps to configuring a digital photo frame:
· Select the language to be used on the application
· Connecting your digital photo frame to the Internet via your Wi-Fi network
· Update the device to the latest version: this is necessary to ensure that the frame works properly
· Enter your name and indicate where the frame is located
· Set the time zone if it's not the right one at start-up
Once the update is complete and your name has been registered, you will need to connect to the FRAMEO application. You can download it from the App Store or Play Store, as it is compatible on all platforms (iOS and Android). If you want your family or friends to be able to send their photos and videos to your frame, you'll need to give them an access code for your frame. However, they will also need to download the application to their smartphone.
To share a code with your friends or family and allow them to send you their photos, you need to access the application and click on the "Add a friend" icon. A login code will then appear, which you can send to the person of your choice (by text message, e-mail or phone call). They will then have 12 hours (the time the code is valid) to enter the code into their application. They will automatically appear on your frame every time they switch on their FRAMEO application, and can send you all the photos and/or videos they want.
How do you choose which photos to display on your connected digital photo frame?
To choose the photos and videos that will then scroll across your connected digital photo frame, you'll need to connect to the FRAMEO app on your smartphone. From this application, you can select the photos and videos you want to appear in the frame from all the multimedia content on your smartphone.
